Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door

A beautiful composition by Guns & Roses. I had heard it for the very first time at #satva #Chandigarh, that too live.
The song that made me realise that I am missing out too much in life like live music, live concerts, great ambience, interesting people, experiences, adventure etc.

Life is too short to miss out on anything!

So live your life, explore it to the core....... before you knock on the heavens door!

PS: A picture of the band singing knocking on heaven's door.

2015!

It’s a New Year and it took a lot of time for me to come up with my New Year resolution, better late than never.
So here I go, this year I want to be wiser and better than my 2014 version, so I have thought of travelling as one of the medium to be one.
I have decided to travel one city every month, explore the culture and tradition of the city.
My quest for knowledge will start with my birth city -Amritsar, Punjab.
Stay tuned for the upcoming places and the whole new adventures!!

When I worked hard, I failed miserably!

When I entered the “highly lucrative sector” of this country, I really wanted to explore myself and excel in this field. I worked very hard to prove myself. But, what I achieved was utter failure. I was demoted and demoted again!
I concluded that maybe this was not my cup of tea, this was not my area, so filled with hope and after giving a lot of thought I decided to give myself a new direction!
Two years of consistent hard work and sacrifice, got me a below average result. Totally surprised and confused but not shattered!
I am still associated with the “highly lucrative sector” and have not only received accolades but a progression and a substantial amount of hike. There are friends and colleagues who might have worked harder than me, but are not able to achieve the desired result.
If someone asked me if I ever wanted this, I would say yes. I would rather say that it would have been merrier, had I got it when I wanted this to happen to me so that I dont have to look for other options in life.
But then, this is life!!

I am still looking forward towards the choices I have made with a positive outlook.
